Chlorophytum - Spider plant

The botanical name of this plant comes from the two Greek words "chloros" (green) and "phuton" (plant), which literally means green plant. It is therefore quite special that the best-known Chlorophytum is not uniformly green, but is a variegated variant that is green in the middle, but creamy white inside. The Chlorophytum family originates from the African continent. It is a strong plant because the plant has tubers in the soil that contain reserve food. This makes this plant easy to care for.
