Howea Fosteriana - Kentia Palm ⌀17cm ↑80cm

Pot size ⌀17cm

Height↑80cm

The Kentia, also known as Howea forsteriana, is one of the stronger palm varieties. This plant originates from Lord Howe Island, a small island to the east of Australia. The Kentia palm is a very popular indoor plant because it is easy to maintain.

The Kentia palm is a slow grower, but from the heart of the plant it will regularly give a new leaf. The new leaf starts as a spear and will suddenly pop open. The new, light green leaf will then unfold. The Kentia steals the show in every interior.
This palm fits perfectly in both a classic and a modern interior.

In addition to good looks Howea Fosteriana is an excellent air purifier and considered pets safe plant.

The Kentia requires a light, warm location, without direct sunlight.
The soil in which it stands contains enough food for the next two years.
After the first year, extra food may be given in the spring and summer.
