Beautiful climbing indoor plant. The botanical name of this plant is Rhapidophora tetrasperma, but it is commonly referred to as mini monstera or Monstera minima. In fact, the plant is not a Monstera, but they do belong to the Aracaea family, just like the Rhapidophora.
It is naturally a strong vining plant. The uniqueness of this plant is that it shows holes in the leaves from an early age. This is in contrast to the popular Monstera deliciosa. The Monstera minima is also a fast grower. Perfect for plant lovers who like to see their plant grow.
This plant will also do well in places with less light, the plant will only grow a little less quickly.
The Monstera is very popular because of its large green leaves with distinctive holes and is native to the tropical rainforests of South America. Most of them are true climbers that use their long tendrils to climb up other trees or rocks. Monstera minima, or Rhaphidophora tetrasperma, is very similar to the deliciosa variety but has smaller leaves.
